This tour takes cyclists on an epic month-long journey as you traverse the length of South Africa from Beit Bridge on our northern most border to Cape Agulhas, the southern most point in Africa. With a challenging average daily distance of 100 - 160km and only five rest days along the way, this tour caters for the real die-hard cycle tourist looking for an insane challenge. Offering you an opportunity to experience the magnificent and diverse scenery in South Africa as well as the wealth of history and culture we have to offer. Our route takes you along the edges of the world famous Kruger National Park, where you will get to experience the amazing variety and abundance of our wildlife along the route and on game drives through the park. You continue on through the mountainous Mpumalanga highlands with their never-ending passes, to the beautiful Kwa-Zulu Natal coastline with its natural wetlands and tropical climate. Here you meander along the base of the magnificent Drakensberg mountain range, also steeped in history and beauty. We then cut inland to the endless flatlands of the Northern Cape, before heading back to the pristine coastline of the Eastern Cape with its nature reserves and game parks - making for a true African experience. Then it’s on through the scenic Garden Route along the southern coast, finally ending in the small coastal village of Agulhas – the southern-most tip of Africa. A true “epic” tour!
