2-Man Team Time Trial

At 14H00 on Saturday afternoon, 29 October 2011, we will be hosting a 2-man Time Trial over a short and sharp 10km circuit in and around the Addo Polo Club.  This is a team event and each 2-man team must start and finish together in order to register a time.

The Time Trial route is mostly along the surrounding farm roads with a short section of single-track just before the finish.  A unique "age" & "weight" handicap system will be used to make the event more fun, with some awesome prizes on offer, including some cases of "Ice Cold Beer". 

This event will start and finish at the Addo Polo Club during Race Registration, so bring your bike along and have some fun with plenty of spectators to cheer you on.  Entries for this event are limited to the first 100 Teams, so be quick and send in your name now.    Entries are R35 per Rider.

To make the event even more interesting, we will be holding a lottery to select riders to partner the top 10 seeded riders entered into Sunday's Features Races.  So if you would like test your skills riding with riders of the caliber of Kevin Evans or Brandon Stewart, be sure to get your entry in soon - specifying "Lottery Entry"!  Remeber, only 10 places up for grabs.

After the ride you can put your feet up and enjoy the Currie Cup Rugby final on the "Big Screen" in the Beer Tent, followed by an evening "Braai" or Pasta for supper!  Bring the whole family along and enjoy a real weekend of cycling action and fun!!!
