Bring the whole family and enjoy the magnificent scenery along the beautiful Port Elizabeth coastline as we cycle a meandering course along the quiet roads and pristine beaches surrounding this friendly city. With children’s bikes and trailer-bikes available for hire, this is the perfect family adventure with plenty of fresh air and healthy exercise to recharge body and soul.
We set off pedalling along the scenic Marine Drive with the wind in our faces and the sea in our sights. Passing through the rustic countryside around Sardinia Bay, we trade our bikes for friendly natured horses and enjoy a pleasant amble over sand dunes and along the beach to our picnic lunch.
After a pleasant afternoon cycle we enjoy a relaxing evening sharing fireside stories at a beautiful holiday resort right on the beach.
Then it’s two full days of fun-in-the-sun, cycling along the beautiful beaches on our southern coastline with canoe rides and nature hikes at a holiday resort along the way. After all that we head back inland to catch the famous Apple Express steam train for a more relaxing ride back to our starting point.
